How the week is organised
From 2027, ISHE holds a single annual meeting. The congress opens with a day of workshops for students, the format that used to belong to the ISHE Summer Institute, and continues with four days of sessions.
- Monday 5 July. Workshops for students during the day. Later that day, the opening lecture and the inaugural cocktail welcome all participants.
- Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 July. Congress sessions: plenary lectures, talks and posters.
- Wednesday afternoon. Poster session at Universidad El Bosque, the host university.
- Thursday afternoon. A guided tour of Bogotá.
- Friday 9 July. Final sessions, and the closing dinner in the evening.

Monday 5 July 2027 is a public holiday in Colombia. The congress runs as planned, and the city is quieter than usual that day (see practical information).
